robot acrylic series...

I have somehow started a series of acrylic paintings of Hector the friendly robot. I have painted 4 so far, and I may do more. They take me about 2 hours each, even though they look like they took 5 minutes. I like that, but I hope people can see some of the effort in them, as well as the spontaneous drawing style.

My friend Jenica took this great photo while filming me for her documentary. I have since shaved, but check out my old-man face!

pots at coal umbrella

I am now selling my cups and bowls at coal umbrella in provo ( 155 north university ave. upstairs). I will also be selling my wall-hanging tiles there, but I need to buy some wire to hang them up first. You can also contact me to purchase some cups, bowls, or tiles by email (my address is written under my photo if you missed it).

new pots! january 09

I just unloaded my glaze firing this morning with some help from Jenica Heintzelman. She has been filming me in order to make a 5-minute documentary for a class at byu. I may post the film here when it is finished. I am very happy with the results of this firing.

The joint art opening with my friend christopher allman was an enjoyable event. The show opened november 7th for the provo gallery stroll and had a great turn-out. I recieved many compliments on my cups and bowls, and many people purchased them as well. Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting chris and me.
